“I can’t imagine a better feeling than sitting in the sunshine with family and friends, sharing a plate of cheese and a glass of wine that are honest reflections of this beautiful Barossa.”
Our cheese now has met its perfect match! Acknowledging that we can't live on cheese alone, Victoria has again ventured into winemaking, creating three wines to gracefully complement the Barossa Valley Cheese range.
2007 Winecellar Pinot Grigio
Sourced from the Barossa ranges, this wine is beginning to show some bottle complexity on the nose and the palate. The aroma is lifted fruits of apples and pears. The palate is well balanced with crisp acidity and silky sweetness.
Cheese match: Vache curd, Ballie Brie or Petite Prince
2004 Winecellar Cabernet Shiraz
Sourced from the Barossa Valley floor, this wine has delicious Barossa Chocolate flavours from the Shiraz and blackberries from the Cabernet blending to create a delicious spicy and rich wine of complexity and flavour.
Cheese match: Koonunga, Aged goat
2005 Winecellar Cabernet Sauvignon
The Cabernet fruit was selected from the high country of the Barossa's Eden Valley, resulting in an elegant and refined Cabernet with black fruits and a slightly herbaceous finish.
Cheese match: Koonunga, Aged goat, Washington Washrind
