For true cheese enthusiasts, our aged La Dame is now available online. Previously this little beauty has been a Cheesecellar only item. We have lovingly matured these wheels for 4.5 years.. and they have matured perfectly and are now the perfect balance of creaminess and bite.
Made with South Australian goats milk, source from Mypolonga – about an hours drive from Angaston. We hand make the cheese and mature the semi-hard wheels in our maturation cellar, that you can view from our Cheesecellar retail space…. “Cheeses on the whey”….
This pack is all about the cheese – our very special wedge of 4 year old La Dame, hand made, hand cut, hand wrapped and delivered to your door.
This cheese is described by Peter Gilmore as "It's a style of cheese that I haven't really seen made before in Australia, let alone with such skill. The cheese really is quite unique and makes for a special addition to a comprehensive cheese plate".
Our La Dame cheese pack includes:
180-200g 4 year old La Dame – our semi-matured goats cheese full of nutty, creamy flavour with a bitey finish.
Pangkarra Stone Milled Durum Wheat Lavosh 100g – Wholegrain crackers with mixed seeds, olive oil and a hint of cracked pepper.
Dried Muscatels 100g – hand-picked and dried on their stems, ensuring highest quality and the natural flavours, perfect on any cheese board.

Delivery Our cheese is hand packed, wrapped in woollen insulation, packed with ice, presented in a white box, and shipped via express post to your door.
