Barossa Valley Cheese Company wins National award at delicious. Harvey Norman Produce Awards.


The winners of the 2021 delicious. Harvey Norman Produce Awards, the country’s most prestigious food industry campaign, have been revealed. Now in its 16th year, the Awards celebrate the country’s new, innovative, native and consistently outstanding Australian ingredients grown, caught, sourced or produced with dedication, passion, knowledge and regard for the environment.
Barossa Valley Cheese Company are very proud winners of the “From the Dairy” category, taking out the top National title with their 4 Year old aged goats cheese, La Dame.


With the awards presented by virtual streaming this year, the Barossa Cheese team gathered on Monday 16th of August to celebrate. “Our entire cheesemaking team are bursting with pride to be recognised for this prestigious award. Many years of dedication, passion and patience go in to making this beautiful handmade cheese” says Victoria McClurg (Founder of Barossa Cheese). “We all feel very privileged to use high quality milk direct from local farmers to make our cheese”


This rare, aged goats cheese is only available directly from the Cheesecellar in Angaston or via an online pack from the Barossa Cheese website. The Cheesecellar is open 6 days a week Wednesday to Monday 10-4pm on the main street of Angaston.
