Purchasing Online

Purchasing from the Barossa Valley Cheese Company’s online store is convenient and easy. We have created packs based around different enjoyments and uses of our cheese that can be shipped to your door.

Our online store uses Shopify built in payment to take credit card payments, you may also choose to use PayPal.

If there is an error with your order please telephone (08) 8564 3636 if calling within Australia (9am to 5pm Australian Central Standard Time) or email sales@barossacheese.com.au as soon as you possibly can. 

Please note we may have the occasional product which is out of stock; when this happens a product of same/greater value will be substituted.


At Barossa Valley Cheese Company we aim to dispatch orders as quickly as possible. We dispatch each Monday (weather depending). Below is an outline of our standard dispatch guidelines.

Please note that during periods of extreme heat we will hold your order and notify you by email when it will be dispatched. In all weather conditions we use insulation and ice in our packaging methods to ensure your cheese arrives in premium condition. If there is a problem with your order please contact our team. Photographic evidence will be required with all complaints.

Delivery Method

Barossa Valley Cheese Company uses the Express Post service of Australia Post for all deliveries. We currently only deliver to addresses within Australia and will not deliver to Australia Post parcel lockers due to the increased likelihood of exposure to higher temperatures. We have also chosen to only dispatch Monday – Wednesday to avoid time in transit and exposure to high temperatures. For this same reason we reserve the right to hold your order in our temperature controlled facility if we have concerns about the weather causing damage to your order.

Please make sure you arrange a delivery location where someone will be available to receive your order. If you are sending your order as a gift, please ensure you advise the recipient to look out for their cheesy parcel arrive in the next 48 hours. We are unable to reship or refund based on the parcel being unable to be left at the address by the postal service. 

During Christmas and Easter, our busiest times of year, the standard dispatch times listed above may be altered. Christmas in particular can coincide with warmer weather. Please consider ordering early to ensure that you receive your order before your desired date.

Delivery Cost

All Barossa Valley Cheese Company giftpacks can be shipped Australia Wide, the shipping cost is calculated at checkout for your area and sized parcel. 

We can offer Free Barossa delivery to Tanunda, Nuriootpa and Angaston, this occurs on a Wednesday unless you contact BVC and arrange an alternative day.
